FSA’s mission is to promote knowledge of Belgian heritage and to contribute to its preservation.
“Automobile heritage” is understood to include: vehicles, automobilia, technical and journalistic documentation, books, art and advertising objects, films, posters, etc.

The Foundation may, among other things:

• acquire vehicles and automobilia through donations, legacies, long-term loans, purchases, life annuities, hire purchase, or any other method deemed appropriate;

• manage this heritage (restoration, maintenance, sale, etc.);

• identify locations and resources for the preservation of this heritage;

• organize exhibitions and other events to present the collections to the general public;

• organize meetings, colloquia, and any other activities that contribute to the visibility and objectives of the Foundation;

• preserve archives, with particular attention to Belgian documents.
